Description

The Software Training Specialist is responsible for training clients in system functionality and using True Helix systems efficiently.  The Software Training Specialist conducts presale product demonstrations, participates in client needs analysis, and facilitates crafting and executing new and existing deployments. The Software Training Specialist is responsible for performing configuration and usability tests on newly created software/environments to guarantee that clients who use the program can do so effectively.  They function by interfacing directly with clients to understand their needs and configure the software to meet them, and also educate them on how to use the deployed program.

Responsibilities Include

  • Conducting pre-sales product demonstrations, providing assistance in scoping customer use, and developing proposals
  • Providing training and end-user support during and after the implementation process
  • Assess clients/user needs and develop an accurate configuration that supports their business processes
  • Defining and executing the delivery and implementation plans
  • Identifying and configuring the software for client implementations
  • Performing tests and troubleshooting system setups for new and existing customers
  • Support external customers and colleagues in the implementation of technical systems and software solutions
  • Available for Onsite projects to work alongside Project Managers, Sales consultants, and clients
  • Utilize SQL to query databases for troubleshooting testing scenarios

Requirements Include 2+ years of experience and

  • Strong internal and client-facing presentation skills

  • Sound technical knowledge of using software systems to meet customer needs
  • The ability to multitask effectively
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and documentation skills
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
  • Exhibits a high level of detail awareness

Pluses

  • Experience with using scheduling, payroll, billing, or financial systems
  • BS or BA degree in computer science, engineering, computer information science, information technology, or a related field
  • Familiar with writing SQL queries
